NYC Skyscrapers Rule!!!!
It appears you have taken a lot of offense to my picks and comments based on the number of responses you have made to my post. Bare in mind, this is an opinion thread. I chose Tampa because if people want a taste of Florida, I feel Tampa best represents it. St. Petersburg goes along with Tampa, just like Ft. Worth goes along with Dallas."Extra:
Tampa? What is so special about Tampa. I prefer St. Pete.
It is not exactly an opinion thread, although you can't really say it is not in some way. The author of the thread started this to get an idea of which cities he will be visiting when he comes to the United States and I believe he has already made his choices although folks will probably still post which 5 cities they would choose long after his visit. I agree with you about the philly/DC stereotypes being made in here. People just have no clue and show a real lack prudence when they post in here.I realize that this is an opinion thread. Unfortunately some comments made about Philadelphia and Washington DC are just not true.
If you divide the U.S. into two halves, as he was doing, you get only east and west...so Dallas and Houston would be in the western half. If you use the traditional regions of the U.S. then Dallas and Houston would be either south or southwest.Dallas and Houston are not in the west.
