Very impressive project... but yet another human made invention.... I love seeing lots of new, positive project.... however, I hope Korean doesn't step into the same footage as what Japan as done during the 80's and 90's... Usually, after the government has lots of money, they continuously spend more money... sometime politically, sometime for the personal reason... without true economical reasons, or considering too much of a environmental problems... Jeju may require (I never being there personally..) some investment to attract more tourist, business etc.... but being what I have seems in Japan... lots of place have turn out to be a ghost town... (City only lasted for 5 to 10 years..) Hope that this is a new human kinds living environment that can last of 100th and 1000th of years. We can see how much of a great city we have created that lasted for long time. At least that was how old our country lasted for already (China, Korea, Japan etc.). Cheers^^

Jeju has great potential. All the hampers it is the fact that unlike Bali, or the Philippines or Thailand, it has limited sunny weather. The great tourist destinations have year round sun and surf, Jeju doesnt. Beauty wise, Jeju can match those places.

Jeju has definitly great potential, but I hope they won't completely build the whole island full!

Amen. Jeju is one of last places in Korea where you can find pristine nature. Thats their biggest asset, I hope they understand that.
