Will Miami ever get the guitar back on top of the Hard Rock in Bayside?

Seriously dunno...that Hard Rock Cafe is completely forgotten...it looks so crappy from outside, last time i went there the A/C was broken, the food was terrible and it looked so bad i thought the corporation was gonna close it or something...nothing like the one in Hollywood!!

I went there two months ago when i visited Downtown and it was nice, and i dont think it couldnt really compete with hollywood since the one in bayside is a restaurant and the one in Hollywood is a hotel/casino/resort/and alot of other entertainment venues.
But it would be nice to see the Guitar back it was becoming some sort of symbol.

Not only get it back, but to get it to turn again-- like it use to do when it first opened many, many years ago.

Was this picture taken during your "Miami, See it like Anything but a Native" tour, and if so, was this b4 or after the U.S. Marshall incident? lolol

Speaking of fairly noticeable structures, does anyone know if the Carbonell statue "Centinela del Rio" that used to be in front of my condo's (Tequesta Point) pool (at the tip of Brickell Key, at the mouth of the river) will be replaced? (I probably should just attend a board meeting someday and ask someone.) He was killed by Wilma ... literally knocked off his feet! I found Manuel Carbonell's site; but they just have pictures of the statue and its location as if it's still there ... no comments about what happened to it or whether a repair or replacement was planned.

I wonder ... was the Hard Rock guitar a Wilma victim as well?

I was there eating a hamburger with a group of friends when I heard the news that Kurt Cobain killed himself.

Yeah, that building needs improvement. Big time.

I wasn't sure what the status of the place was since I heard it was bought and that they took the guitar down.

Before it became a Hard Rock, there was a sort of banquet hall in that building.

Yup, the Seminole bought all of Hardrock's hotels, casinos and restaurants for just under a billion. The deal did not include the Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas though, which is a separate entity.
