I will post a new thread about natural places in USA . United states of America It's a federal republic consisting of 50 states and a federal district. The United States is a developed country and has the world's largest national economy, with an estimated GDP in 2013 of $16.7 trillion 23% of global nominal GDP . Mount McKinley

Location: Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska, USA
Is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,237 feet (6,168 m) above sea level .​










The Koyukon Athabaskans are the first Native Americans with access to the flanks of the mountain (living in the Yukon, Tanana and Kuskokwim basins). George Vancouver became the first European to sight McKinley when he noted "distant stupendous mountains" while surveying the Knik Arm of the Cook Inlet on May 6, 1794.

Yosemite National Park

Location : Tuolumne, Mariposa, & Madera counties, California, USA
The park, which is managed by the National Park Service, covers an area of 747,956 acres (3,026.87 km2) and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain. Over 3.7 million people visit Yosemite each year.










As revealed by archeological finds, the Yosemite Valley has been inhabited for nearly 3000 years. The Paiute and Sierra Miwok peoples lived in the area long before the first explorations by American settlers into the region.

Roxborough State Park

Location : Colorado , USA
The state park is known for dramatic red sandstone formations. Located in Douglas County 25 miles (40 km) south of Denver, Colorado, the 3,339-acre (13.51 km2) park was established in 1975.​

Everglades National Park

Location : Miami-Dade, Monroe, & Collier counties, Florida, USA
It's home to 36 threatened or protected species including the Florida panther, the American crocodile, and the West Indian manatee, and supports 350 species of birds, 300 species of fresh and saltwater fish, 40 species of mammals, and 50 species of reptiles.​













The American alligator , sometimes referred to colloquially as a gator or common alligator, is a large crocodilian reptile endemic to the southeastern United States. It is one of two living species in the genus Alligator within the family Alligatoridae; it is larger than the other extant alligator species, the Chinese alligator.

Palouse

Location : southeastern Washington and north central Idaho , USA
It is a major agricultural area, primarily producing wheat and legumes. Traditionally, the Palouse region was defined as the fertile hills and prairies north of the Snake River, which separated it from Walla Walla Country, and north of the Clearwater River .










Situated about 160 miles (260 km) north of the Oregon Trail, the region experienced rapid growth in the late 19th century, and at one time, the population of the Palouse surpassed even that of the Puget Sound area as the most populous region of the state.

DeSoto Falls (Alabama)

Location : Alabama . USA

DeSoto Falls is a 104-foot (32 m) waterfall located on the West Fork of the Little River near Mentone, Alabama. The falls have carved their own small canyon. They are named after Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto.

Daniel Boone National Forest

Location : Kentucky, USA

It's the only national forest completely within the boundary of Kentucky. Established in 1937, it was originally named the Cumberland National Forest, after the core region called the Cumberland Purchase Unit.

Acadia National Park

Location : Maine , USA
The park includes mountains, an ocean shoreline, woodlands, and lakes. In addition to Mount Desert Island, the park comprises much of the Isle au Haut, parts of Baker Island, and a portion of the Schoodic Peninsula on the mainland.​

Antietam National Battlefield

Location : Washington County, Maryland, USA
It's a National Park Service protected area along Antietam Creek in Sharpsburg, Washington County, northwestern Maryland. It commemorates the American Civil War Battle of Antietam that occurred on September 17, 1862.

Saint Mary Lake

Location : Glacier County, Montana, USA
The lake is 9.9 miles (15.9 km) long and 300 feet (91 m) deep. The waters of the lake rarely rise above 50 °F (10 °C) and are home to various species of trout. During the winter, the lake often is frozen completely over with ice up to 4 feet (1.2 m) thick.

Mackinac Island

Location : Michigan , USA
It's an island and resort area, covering 3.8 square miles (9.8 km2) in land area . The island was home to a Native American settlement before European exploration began in the 17th century. It served a strategic position amidst the commerce of the Great Lakes fur trade.

Zion National Park

Location : Utah, USA
Zion National Park includes mountains, canyons, buttes, mesas, monoliths, rivers, slot canyons, and natural arches. Human habitation of the area started about 8,000 years ago with small family groups of Native Americans.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

Location : Leelanau County & Benzie County, Michigan, USA
The park covers a 35-mile (60-km) stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline, as well as North and South Manitou Islands. This northern Michigan park was established primarily because of its outstanding natural features, including forests, beaches, dune formations, and ancient glacial phenomena.
