What a great state, even if they do have the Ravens.

Cumberland

Annapolis

Baltimore

I see a huge Rats nest in the background. Call the exterminators.

i highly approave of maryland. basically looks a lot like parts of our state; but without quite as many mountains and larger cities.

its funny how maryland is one of these states that could totally be put into either the category of "north" or "south" depending on where you are. Western MD seems northern for the most part almost like an extension of PA, Eastern MD I would consider southern for the most part, similar to coastal VA and NC....the Baltimore-Washington corridor seems like the dead middle....a complete tossup for either north or south.

You're quite right about that, although even within the Baltimore metro area, you can find that north-south transition. Within a few blocks of each other, you can find a recognizably northern city street scene
