Here's my Australia Day banner entry...
All photos are my own, except the image of Sir Henry Parkes.
I tried to create a banner which expressed the greatest achievement in our nation's history - federation. Hence I have a picture of Sir Henry Parkes, the Father of Federation looking across to Parliament House in Canberra, the beating heart of our nation. This is followed by the Coat-of-Arms, another symbol of achivement and unity. The banner finishes with a picture of Melbourne which represents both the past and present - a past national capital and a thriving city of national and world standing.
I am keen to receive your feedback, and I hope you like my work.
Cheers,
The Olderfleet
