Even the dail lama have issues
IMO, once somebody gets the klieg lights, everybody seeing him/her thinks he's/she's somebody to emulate.

Especially if the person under those klieg lights believes he/she is one! Just like a fly who happens to ride the back of an elephant, thinks he's tall and big also!:eek:hno::eek:hno::eek:hno:

Sandigan junks P200-B forfeiture case vs. Marcoses
TSK TSK TSK A VERY SAD DAY

The Sandiganbayan has dismissed the P200-billion forfeiture case against the late President Ferdinand Marcos and his surviving family members due to lack of evidence.

"The Court acknowledges the atrocities committed during Martial Law under the Marcos regime and the "plunder" committed on the country’s resources. However, absent sufficient evidence that may lead to the conclusion that the subject properties were indeed ill-gotten by the Marcoses, the Court cannot simply order the return of the same to the national treasury,” the Sandiganbayan said.
In August, the Sandiganbayan also junked a P102-billion ill-gotten wealth case against the late President Marcos and his wife, Imelda, as well as 11 of their cronies due to the prosecution’s failure to present evidence
By September, the Sandiganbayan has affirmed the dismissal of an ill-gotten wealth case against the heirs of Luis Yulo, identified as one of Marcos’ cronies, and the family’s YKR Corporation involving Busuanga Properties in Palawan—the property that is the subject of the still pending ill-gotten wealth case numbered Civil Case 0024 against the late President Ferdinand Marcos and his cronies.
In October, Sandiganbayan’s Second Division dismissed the P1.052 billion ill-gotten wealth case against Bienvenido Tantoco, Sr., the Marcos couple, among others, in connection with the Tantoco clan's 11 real estate properties located in the Philippines, Hawaii and Rome; shares of stocks in 19 companies; cash on hand and in bank; jewelry; notes, loans and mortgages receivable; motor vehicles and three Cessna aircraft.
Also in October, the Sandiganbayan Fourth Division threw out a P267-million ill-gotten case against former President Marcos and his wife Imelda and their cronies namely President Fe Roa Gimenez and her husband, Ignacio Gimenez, Vilma Bautista and her husband, Gregorio, among others, due to insufficiency of evidence.
One by one, Sandiganbayan is releasing Marcos from their cases. It's sad that the court admits the Marcos committed these malpractices but the evidences are provided in photocopies rather than in original copies which put the cases against Marcos in jeopardy.

Duterte slams Winnie Monsod
“F—k you!’”

“Aren’t you surprised suddenly this columnist is heaping praise on the President?”

“From the time this President assumed office, she has not said any good word and then suddenly there is praising. There must be some reason. Is she laying a predicate?”

Here's an excerpt from the 16 Dec 2019 Malacañang Press Briefing:

HENRY URI/DZRH: Sec, baka puwede na naming marinig. Ano ba ‘yung binabanggit mo kay Winnie Monsod, please?

SEC. PANELO: You have to read the column first. I cannot—

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: [OFF MIC] Poverty data ba ‘yan?

SEC. PANELO: You read it. I think it’s a Saturday column.

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: [OFF MIC] Poverty data?

SEC. PANELO: Basta basahin n’yo.

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: [OFF MIC] It’s here, sige. I’ll read.

HENRY URI/DZRH: But Sec, since you mentioned it why not—

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: [OFF MIC] Must be congratulated?

SEC. PANELO: (laughs)

HENRY URI/DZRH: Why not tell it to us, Secretary?

SEC. PANELO: Basahin n’yo na muna para maganda ‘yung discussion natin. ‘Tsaka it’s not my comment.

ALVIN BALTAZAR: Thank you, sir. Joseph?

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: Alright. So she’s apparently congratulating the President.

SEC. PANELO: Basahin mo muna lahat ‘yan.

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: Kaya nga, ‘eto nga sir.

SEC. PANELO: Ikaw lang naman nagbabasa eh hindi naman—

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: [reads parts of the column] The Duterte administration must be congratulated, the latest poverty estimates based on the 2018 family income show that the percentage of families who fall below the poverty threshold fell from 17.9 to 12.9… and then several paragraphs. She concludes, ‘Anyway congratulations again Mr. President, may I just remind you that in the Philippine Development Plan your target—So, she’s asking about rural poverty issues.

SEC. PANELO: Aren’t you surprised with that column?

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: What’s your opinion?

SEC. PANELO: But I’m asking: Aren’t you surprised suddenly this columnist is praising—is heaping praise on the President?

MPC: [OFF MIC] (UNCLEAR)

SEC. PANELO: From the time this President assumed office, she has not said any good word and then suddenly there is praising.

MPC: [OFF MIC] (UNCLEAR)

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: Point being?

SEC. PANELO: There must be some reason. Is she laying a predicate?

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: What do you mean by that?

SEC. PANELO: But anyway, the President asked me to give his response to this columnist. He said: tell her I hate being patronized! ‘F’ you!

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: Really may ‘F’ you? Is that your addition or the President?

SEC. PANELO: That’s what is the ‘F’ you!

JOSEPH MORONG/GMA7: Sige. Okay.

Seems like a GMA 7 offensive. Nagtaka rin ako when Unang Hirit recently featured the President in an enthusiastically done interview.
