I love Aeurillios :cheers: . Definently my favorite.

I'd like to ask the Aeurillio fans: is it as good in the other locations as it is in Homewood.

I've never had it from there, but I live in the western suburbs (Berkeley, next door to Elmhurst but in Cook County) and the Aeurillios pizza here is fucking awesome. im hungry.


My dad tried to get me on Lou Malnati's, thin crust not deep dish, but I hated it and still do.

my dad hates any pizza that's not thin crust, so growing up I never got to try Lou's deep dish. i'll have to give the sausage disc a try.

Gullivers is geat! Was there last time i visited 'home'and it was as good as ever. Plus, the decor there is brilliant!

No. The Aurelio's in Homewood is the best in my opinion (some of it may be nostalgia though, I recalling having birthday parties there in the 1980's). But I've only had the Aurelios in Chicago Heights and Northwest Indiana to compare it to, neither which were quite up to par, but certainly pretty tasty.

Would it gross you guys out to know that years ago, we went with some friends, their kids and ours, to Nancy's in Niles (around Golf and Greenwood, near Golf Mill...I'm not sure if they are still there).

We ordered pizza (surprise). When it came, one of the kids asked "what's that", pointing to an ingredient we didn't order. It appeared to be a black olive. It wasn't. Olives have never been known to walk on their own 6 feet. Or have sibblings.

Understandably our stomach's we're turning and our appetite pretty well destroyed. But the clincher was how the management wanted to handle things: to take the cost of the pizza off of our bill and charge us for the rest (or graciously offering to make us another pizza!).

Needless to say we let them know that in no uncertain terms we weren't paying a fucking cent. My biggest regret: not having reported this to Niles health officials.

It took awhile to get my taste buds receptive for pizza...but never again at Nancy's. If I ever did go back, however, I'd bring a can of Raid with me.

well since im part of the jewish community i know a very good kosher pizza place in skokie called Slice of Life, its on Demster. there deep dish is reeaaly good! sorry no meat (no dairy and meat together , remember its a kosher place but dont knock it till you tried the pizza) but have em put any kind of topping on it you want other than that. fresh cut mushrooms, onions, greenpeppers, garlick mmmmmmmm . my mouth is watering just thinking about it. but other than that ill have to go with nancys and uno's

these are the ones in chicago that i know of but i don't know anything about what neighbourhoods they would be in but im sure you guys know.
