Well, piling on this main tower started in May 2012 and finishes here in August 2013: so 16 months. I know it is a long time to wait but with a tower of this height it just takes longer.

Rose Rock IFC will start piling in September 2013 and if we give it say 18 months since it is taller then piling should be complete around March 2015.

and chow tai fook will reach groundlevel in 2015 and rose rock in 2016. long waits await us

Yes, I think its the crown not really sure what it is and what's it used for. Just part of the design?
