There are a couple of towers in the direct vicinity, the stationbuilding is 80m tall and there's a 115m residential tower right behind, somewhat further to the west is a 100m office tower and 600m to the south there's the small cluster Nishigotanda with a couple of 100m+ towers.

I totally agree. But unfortunately it looks like paying attention to that is not yet part of the building culture in Japan. Buyers too seem not to care much either, focusing on the location, the station(s) nearby, the inside design, the greenery, the facilities around, the earthquake-proof level... Too much to think about maybe? lol

True, looking at this bigger render, it might be not that bad. But I'll judge when it's complete.
Usually, I like the beige-brown nuances like on several Musashi-kosugi towers, but not quite the light blue (like in Futako-tamagawa Rise 1st phase).
The top part can make a big change. For that matter I love Kawaguchi's Elsa Tower 55.
