I didn't make a thread for this tower yet although the construction started last month. They are still working on the demolition of the former building but a big work platform has been set up to have an even work site on this hill. This means that the actual construction will follow directly or even already before the site underneath the platform is cleared.

It's interesting that they used pictures of the Tokyo Tower with the repair works going on.

We can see the Mamianachô project we were talking about last year. In the end, what is the scale of the project? It's not a high-rise, otherwise we would have heard of it, but have you read anything about the height?

December

It looks like there was some major progress underneath the platform that was created at streetlevel on the upper streetside of this hillside tower.

Last week (oh yeah, it was sunny)

(In the foreground is a 6 floors, 18.21m project by Mitsubishi Jisho.)

In the foreground is Branz Mamianacho, a luxurious low-rise being built by Tokyu Fudosan.

Deep work for the Branz project.

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the richest areas in Tokyo. Considering it is, I find this project to be pretty disappointing in relation to it's location across the street from a historic property, and being in the same neighborhood as Masayoshi Son of SoftBank's extravagant mansion.

Branz Azabu Mamianacho looks boring as well. I haven't seen any renders to what Mitsubishi is building.
