Bicentenary Towers

This towers are 65 meters tall and they were built in 2010 to celebrate 200 years of independence from Spain. As you already know, Mexico´s Independence was in 1810, 100 years later the Independence Angel is built to celebrate 100 years of Independence, now 200 years later (2010) a lot of monuments are made to celebrate the bicentenary!

To Celebrate 100 years: 1910

To Celebrate 200 years: 2010
¨La Estela de Luz¨ or ¨The Light Tail¨
Or just the Bicentenary Monument for Mexico City.

But for Toluca, the city of this thread, they built Las Torres Bicentenario or Bicentenary Towers!​
