This thread is for quick reference and to organize the huge volume of buildings at the proposal stage. I'll list the proposals by height. Please feel free to add any proposal over 150m not listed here so we can develop a comprehensive summary.

I'm eventually going to add renderings of each and a link to each in the High Rise Sub-Forum. Bear with me as it will take a little time for me to get it together.

Yes, I probably should have started with the U/C thread first as it's more pressing, but I plan to get them both done within the week so it should be ok. I stickied the thread and will do the same when I get to the U/C thread.

Do you think I should expand this to 100m+ buildings? I probably should as the U/C thread is 100m+.

yes I would expand it. expanding it to that point would add a huge amount of buildings, but it would be nice. Lots of suburban stuff that needs to be included.

^^ I think the Proposal list will expand well beyond 100 buildings when I include buildings 100m - 150m. We're certainly spoiled here in Toronto although we do seem to be slowing down just as a massive backlog of projects awaits buyers, approval, shovels in the ground. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that these proposals get built. We might start seeing stalled projects and/or cancellations. The boom can't go on forever.

I agree. I'll work on this some more after Sunday. I have football playoffs this weekend so I'm super busy.

I don't want to dump all the work on you, but dig in if you feel up to it. I linked them to the first page of the thread concerned because that's where a lot of the information and renderings are to be found.

It's probably best to do that with the rest as well. You might notice that some of the heights don't correspond, but we'll get it all straightened out eventually.

174m x 2 I think. It's off the gardiner in etobicoke. The two towers will be the third phase of the development. Phase one is almost done and is something like 18 floors, phase 2 I think has started construction and is 2 30 floor towers, and phase three will be the big ones.

Yep, IQ is on the Queensway just west of the Cineplex at Islington. The proposed height is really surprising given the area. It's mostly a one to two-level strip-mall type neighbourhood. There's no other high-rises in the immediate area.

What's 43 Simcoe by the way? I can't seem to find much information on it.

That's the one that's paired with 156 Front on the same lot. 43 Simcoe is the taller one and office, the other is a condo. So it's on the northeast corner of Front and Simcoe. You can see the Bank of America building in the rendering below.

My understanding is that the plans for that site have changed to a single large office building, 250+ meters. nothing official about it, but it is no longer the version we have seen.

There really isn't any information, other than the original proposal. Even the original hosting site of the images has deleted them.. LeftCoaster at SSP (a mod who seems to have connections in the office market), as well as a few others, explained that they are looking at a 50+ floor office building, and were aiming at attracting a specific tenant. no other information has really been given.

Thanks 'innsertnamehere'. I vaguely remember reading something about the height increase and the condo being nixed. I suppose we'll have to sit on this and 156 Front West for a while.

And a new 58 floor mixed use residential point tower is being proposed for 836 Yonge Street. I believe that's the southwest corner of Yorkville and Yonge.
