Hey all, here are some pics I took last Saturday in the Vancouver neighbourhood of South Granville. The area is just south of downtown (across the Granville Street Bridge) with Granville Street as the main commercial/retail anchor.

excelent tour raggedy, and pretty cool pics.

im living in MTL and its not the same, is very diferent, im going to fly over Vancouver next August.
Cool. This is not a bad part of Vancouver to check out. I'm going to see if I can go take walk through there and along Broadway as well when I go to Van next week.
Nice Pics!
is this supposed to be a rich suburb? or middle class? :)
^^ It is just across the bridge from downtown. If I were to move to Vancouver I could see myself living in that area.. it has a nice comfortable feel when you walk about it, and there are some nice stores there, too.
I went through this part of town and liked it much better than the rest of the city aside from the West End. Looks like Montclair NJ but newer.
What a nice, urban city neighborhood. Such a refresher from the urban sprawl among most cities.

Yea, the westside of town is the good side of town. Ironically, everything west of Main Street is good. Everything east of Main Street should be a write off.....it immediately goes downhill, the bulldozers should be ordered imo.
^^I'd napalm everything there, but leave Strathcona and the Commercial area between Broadway and Hastings alone. The rest is just one big trailer park. Although you'd be destroying 6 to 8 hundred thousand dollar trailers.
Thanks for all the comments, greatly appreciated. :D
