Now is the time to discuss travel and destinations.

Discuss on Travel and Issues, AND WHY IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD WINTER DESTINATION. :)
Pictures of hotel restaurants or your personal experiences are welcome.
Ill be posting stuff later on, and for the mean time you decide what to do :)

A good winter destination for me involves seeing friends and family, or snow. (or both, since they all live up north)
I have to agree. Why do I even live here? I hate this weather. But I guess if I lived back in Ohio or Michigan or ILL and saw visual evidence that Earth did in fact orbit a yellow star-but maybe only a few weeks out of the year, then I would probably want to come to Florida too and get turned into a red lobster.
G'day, not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I live in Melbourne...not Florida...but Australia....a great place but see the cruise ship industry out of Florida is huge...Through the Carribean etc. I am a qualfied Personal Trainer and although most people think exercise would be the last thing they want on a cruise there are gyms on board and they do employ gym instructors/P.trainers. I have a yearning to come over there and make my new career working on a ship for a while....visiting friends up in Lexington, Kentucky and over in California later this year, I wondered if it would be worthwhile to visit Florida to see possibilities ?? Any ideas.....?

Carnival and Royal Carribean (I think) are both based out of Miami. Both also have a large presence in Port Canaveral as well. Disney Cruise Line is in PC too. Port of Miami and Port Canaveral are the two busiest cruise ports in the world. Fort Lauderdale is No.3.
