In keeping with tradition of Grollo's & Jt's apartment views posts, here's some views from Townsville apartments. All photos from www.realestate.com.au

That pic you said was a bad view, if it was turned a little more to the left, it would be looking straight at the ocean.
^ yeh but as it is, you're looking at desert, not a view i'd like
^ It's not desert........ I think you're imagining things. lol
lol you know what i mean ,its like plain, desert colour, deserty looking ..
I don't get what you two mean, The Pictures are all x's
wtf goran. its tropical north QLD, its not desert.
lol Goran, desert :) Most of the land out there is mangroves and saltpans, the later of which can look like desert (except it's a lot wetter!). Here's a shot I took of a similiar view.

It shows how decentralised the CBD is - not only is it on the eastern edge of the city because of the ocean, but only South Townsville & Railway Estate separate it from the mangroves on the other side. All the sprawl is out to the west, which doesn't make for a very effective CENTRAL Business District :)

But it's still a great view - added bonus of watching Mint (left of realestate.com photo) and Sanctuary (right of photo) under construction.

Absolutely - you can see over to the Muntalunga Range off in the distance and then behind that the Mt Elliot massif which rises to 1342m. Unfortunantly much of those mangrove forests are earmarked for heavy industry, which will destroy the marine environment and blow noxious chemicals accross the city. Woodstock would be a much better place. Don't get me started lol.

There is already one heavy industry there - if you look closely in my photo there is the Sun Metals zinc refinery at the foot of the Muntalunga Range.
Don't worry about what Goran said, he seems to be pretty much anti-anything to do with Queensland. lol ;)
They're all good views, infact in the one that Goran Claimed was Bad, you can see the two cranes in the pic together, infact is Sanctuary losing its crane.
Sanctuary won't be losing it's crane just yet. They haven't finished the roofs.
Here's the view from my apartment. The palm tree to the right has since been cut down so you can now see the ocean quite easily. :)

Nice Wezza - I know where that is but I wont say in case you're worried about psycopaths hunting you down :D

Here's another realestate.com view from Highpoint - you know I've never seen the back of Sacred Heart Cathedral before.
