I don't see that at all. All I see is the younger (my) generation rebelling more and more and becoming stupider and stupider.
I honestly think the ones trying to start the shit were NOT Latino immigrants, but far-leftist whites and far-leftist American-born Chicanos who wanted instigate some shit because they believe in class warfare. They believe the police is the enemy, and will do their damndest to make the enemy look like a real enemy. They were actually glad the police got brutal, because if the police did nothing, that would just disprove their point.I don't know why, but after seeing some of the results of the march/rally this past week and the police violence in McArthur park, it really feels like the Latino community in LA is about to explode.
I just think that if some type of controversial event in LA happens that involves the Latino community and LAPD, that might just be the spark that touches off mass riots. Is it just me or do you guys feel this type of tension too?
I agree!I don't see that at all. All I see is the younger (my) generation rebelling more and more and becoming stupider and stupider.
The problem is that unlike generations past, most youth of today really don't really believe in anything, so they really have no idea what they're rebelling against...I mean take for instance emo kids...wtf is that all about?I don't see that at all. All I see is the younger (my) generation rebelling more and more and becoming stupider and stupider.
like waiting for the next TMZ video of paris hiltonCuba was bad, but at least it was a hell of a lot better than it is now. Under Bautista, only the farmers had it bad. Now, everyone has it bad. Che's revolution was responsible for the murder of many Cubans, so because of that he gets his face on shirts? That is why I get so angry about it. Who has a shirt with Pinochet on it? No one.
Elsongs has it right. At least when students protested in the past, they had a cause. Today, students are lazy, spoiled, and just want to get out of school with a fake agenda.
And he helped the people by killing them?Che and pinochet are completely different scenarios though. Che was a revolutionary for the people, it's unfortunate what happened in the Island. So you can't assume that both cases were similar.
That may be true indeed, BUT the news media all over this country labeled all the trouble makers as immigrants trying to attack police officers. And joe six pack doesn't go out and SEARCH for the truth by reading books/attending lectures, he just sees it as those criminal illegals messing up my country.I honestly think the ones trying to start the shit were NOT Latino immigrants, but far-leftist whites and far-leftist American-born Chicanos who wanted instigate some shit because they believe in class warfare.
