This one is looking good bulk. The one next door however looks awful!

Not sure if its okay to mention on this site. Trapezoid promised Twilight Park Tower A to its buyers for occupation 1st March 2017... moved it to 1 November 2017.... moved it again 29 February 2018..... by the looks of things..they will probably move it again....doesn't look as if they are committed to delivery....

Unfortunately this is becoming very common in new build delivery all over the world and the purchasers have little say in any of this or much recourse.Hi

There are countless developments in london 2-4 years late and in Sydney developers almost follow this approach on purpose so that they can cancel sales and resell at a much higher price than they originally brought it to market.
there is going to be a population boom in this area soon when these all take occupancy... finally lead to the birth and blossoming of all the on street retail?
I was at Chris Saunders park yesterday, the area is already getting a lot of pedestrians, which is a good sign.
I think parking is going to become a nightmare though :grumpy:

Yes agree. However, alot of the cars parked on the street there are from CCI. When there new building opens they will have 1000s of new bays.
On street parking in uMhlanga will soon be lay and display parking anyway.

Twilight Park
Was informed today that the construction company for Twilight Park is under liquidation. Not sure if this is true, and if it is, what is the way forward. This development is way past its target date. Maybe someone can shed some light.

According to the boards onsite, the original construction team was NMC construction group. It's sad that they are under liquidation. Does that mean the industry is under pressure? Are we going to see other construction companies failing or was this incident isolated.
This project has stalled since I have not seen any workers on site today.

Hopefully isolated. Completion was meant to be March 2018, wonder when it will be now?
The new consruction company is Rhodes Construction. The completion date was supposed to be March 2017 and then it was moved forward several times. Last I heard moved to end of May 2018. Not very good news for buyers . Im sure they will move again

Unfortunately this happens often with new build development in terms of a shifting of completion dates all over the world. It doesn't look a year away from completion though
There is activity onsite, painting of the building exterior is being done.
