I noticed we don't have a thread for this interesting project. The USA is building a new embassy, which is expected to become the biggest in the Middle East ?

The design of the new $1 billion facility is being built to be sustainable and eco-friendly.

I know it will be hard to post photo updates as the area is a highly restricted security zone, but thought maybe we can share any information we can find here? And whatever images we have.

Here is a design render. It looks very nice right?

It is designed by Culver City, Calif., firm Morphosis Architects. The U.S. Department of State aims to finish the project by 2022.

Set on a 43.87-acre site, the complex will include a Chancery, a Marine security guard residence, housing, and support and community spaces.
