H09 has been repaired a couple of years ago. The road in the video is currently being repaved, but many sections still look like in the video.

I drove over H09 this February. Yes, some parts were repaved, but on many parts it looks almost exactly like on above picture. It took us about 6 hours for 200 km. Good or acceptable parts were about half of this length.

Some backyards in our commieblock districts ln Lithuania look like this, especially in Kaunas.

Better than having such conditions on main roads, but still s***t if comparing to the countries more West than us, including Finland and likely Estonia.

Yep, keep in mind this is the main road not only between Kryvyi Rih (pop. 630,000) and Mykolaiv (495,000) but also between Dnipro (1,000,000) and Odessa (1,016,000).

In all, this road is the most direct connection between the #3, #4, #8 & #9 largest cities in Ukraine! :nuts:

Most of road destruction in this case is because of grain transport. Many trucks transporting agricultural produce are too overloaded, and weight controls are inefficient and easy to bypass.

But it seems it's mostly from lack of maintenance since it look like Soviet tarmac which is weaker in general, since in Soviet times there were not very much traffic in general and the transport itself was lighter.

In Romania (at least in Banat), when a road was refurbished, they used to steal half of the materials. So, just shortly later, it was broken again.

Yep, keep in mind this N11 is the main road not only between Kryvyi Rih (pop. 630,000) and Mykolaiv (495,000) but also between Dnipro (1,000,000) and Odessa (1,016,000).

So the N11 was partly repaved last November. Is there any planning for the reconstruction of the whole road between Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv so it can deal with the heavy cargo traffic?

The latest idea is to pave such roads with concrete. Don't know if they will use it on H11, but here are some photos from the road between Mykolaiv and Kropyvnytskyi (H14).

They are planning to build the Lviv bypass road in 4 years starting from 2021.
