Mainly for the benefit of professionals and students, but also for anyone who has an interest in UK Tall Building Policy, here is the Civic Trust Policy Group's response to CABE's draft tall building policy.

Note: The Civic Trusts of the UK are organisations which lobby to preserve and enhance the distinctive character of Britain's towns and cities. While they aren't anti-tall building per se they can be expected to take a far more cautious approach than, for example CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment)

I was glad to see they mentioned what I've been banging on about for ages; that tall buildings should, where possible allow public access to upper floors. I hope CABE take this on board. and campaigns/responses/07TallBldsCABEEH.Final.doc
