Is it back to being a monastery now or is it like a pirogovo pid Kyievom?

It's is ethnografic museum under open air like Pirogovo or similar vilages in Byelarus.

I like these kind of museums, the best place to go with a family when you're a kid.

Though I'm surprised with the design of the arches, doesn't seem like something we would find in Ukraine, that's for sure.

While this part of exhibition could very well fit even in my house.

This is unusual even for Russia. The guys who lived there were great hunters and fisherman "Pomores' they mixed ethnically with some other tribes including Karels etc. Nature out ther simply breathtaking

Wow, I thought such thing existed in Ukraine only.

Is this the completel analogy? Different parts of the "village" represent different times and regions of Belarus?

Doc is right. All distinguishable regions are represented. Though as all state run organizations the museum does not fully realizes all the potential, still really nice place.
