This is a new multidepartmental lecture hall complex for the University of Pretoria. It is situated on the corner of Burnett and Festival streets, which is a prime spot within the University's grounds that was previously used for student parking. There is not a lot of information available about this project. This project is already aproved and I believe construction will start shortly.

Floor Area: 4000 sq metres

Cost: R75 million

Duration: 20 months, 5 months design and technical documentation and 15 months construction

Completion: January 2012

Description: 4 x 600 seater lecture halls with a total of 2400 seats for multi departmental student use

Sorry, I have made a mistake on this development's location. It will be situated deeper in campus next to the old agriculture building, the chemistry building and the medical centre...

Ground work has already started...

It's known as the Thuto Building. I had a few classes there last year, the lecture halls are very spacious and aesthetically pleasing :)
