Unknown Tokyo Buildings

I just spent a few weeks taking pictures of Tokyo, and I have a number of buildings which I cannot identify. I'm hoping some local or a knowledgable gaijin will be able to help:

Building west of the TMGO near Shinjuku.

Another cluster near Shinjuku

What's the slanted building in the middle?

Those are...

1) Citytower Shinjuku Shintoshin...just about to be finished!
2) The building in front is Harmony Tower. In the back, is that Nakanosakaue Sun Bright Twin?
3) Nakano Sunplaza.

Theyre not unknown anymore. Citytower Shinjuku Shintoshi is awful, BTW..
Excellent. Thanks very much. Buildings in Tokyo always seem to have such happy names ("Sunplaza" "Bright Twin").

Here's a stumper -- I took this picture in Kabukicho, next to the Marugen 54 building:

Here's a close-up of the writing over the door, which I can't read:

The poster in the middle of the building shows a baby's feet with the legend "Life Support" and a logo that looks like a combination of an A and a 1.

Can't help with the actual building, but the words read "Star Throne Building". So just a name, nothing about the building's purpose :)

I have the reccomendation.
If someone is in Tokyo, check out Meiji University Campus building at Ocha-no-Mizu. It is very pretty.

the word with the bldg is '星座館', which means the building for constellation or Star Throne Building in English as mrgazpacho says.
I tried finding where/what it is by google and yahoo, then the building turned out to be the famous shop selling astronomical telescopes, binoculours, and personal planetariums.

Some of those are difficult, some of them are easy.

From your first of three posts:

2) World Trade Center
3) Moto-Azabu Hills Forest Tower

The last two are in River City 21. The first one's probably Century Park Tower.

In your second:

1 - 3 are also in River City 21.

4) Famille Tsukishima Grand-Suite Tower
5) Plaza Tower Kachidoki
6) Harumi Island Triton Square

In your third:

3) Shiodome, from the east
4) Dentsu Headquarters / Caretta Shiodome
5) Harumi Island Triton Square

The last one is Toyosu Center Building

Sorry, just got the obvious ones. I guess you took your pictures in 2003?

 kirk, you're a machine!
Not really, I've just taken many similar pictures on similar walks through Tokyo, and I was one of the editors for Tokyo on Emporis a couple of years ago. Some of the other ones would take some research to find, but it would be possible. That first one though? That would be impressive. There's gotta be hundreds of buildings just like that.

Kirk, I'd like you to return to be an editor again!
The stats on Japan in Emporis are unrenewed !
The last one is Toyosu Center Building
Speaking of which, what's the status of Toyosu???

I heard that this is the newest construction area in the whole of Japan yet so far I haven't heard of any new or current construction projects (aside from the train station, Toyosu Lalaport complex and Toyosu Tower).

Any updates for Toyosu then?

P.S.
I'm sure many Japs have seen the ad on this guy:

Some of those landfill areas are pretty hideous. It's sad how much area they dedicate to vehicle traffic, especially when it's not really necessary. The street life in some of these areas is pretty dismal, despite the reasonable population density.

There's probably no way I'm going back to Emporis. The first reason is that I just don't have the time due to increased work and family obligations. The second reason is that I have gotten fed up with the management and direction at Emporis. They have ideas but they get left in the dust because they're too slow (cheap? lazy?) to implement them. Then they just sit back and take advantage of their staff of passionate volunteers. They owe me hundreds of dollars for photos of mine that they've licensed out, and the same can be said of many other photographers. If I'm doing research for free, I'd rather put it on Wikipedia, instead of letting the people running Emporis make money off of my contributions.
