Apparently those two twin towers weren't the actual project. They were just fake renders given out by Emaar to keep the public away from reality. The original design was unveiled during the ground breaking ceremony.

According to the media reports, these towers are 55 storey's tall, but it doesn't look like that. Will try and get more info on the project.
