Nice shots! Uppsala looks lovely and quaint!
Uppsala is a nice city, but since i have done the military service there, i have bad memories from that city^^
Great pics dude;)
Thanks, guys! I really like Uppsala, our biggest small town.

Yes the location of the restaurant is great. I don't think it's so expensive, I think it is a greek restaurant.
Btw, this restaurant is more high-end, and the location is not bad either...

^^ I was gonna mention that one, but I wasn't sure if it was a restaurant. It looked so empty. Maybe the food sucks? :)
^^ The reason why looks empty is because it's much bigger ;)

Nice shots Stefan E. Did you enter the Uppsala Consert & Congress building? You have a rather good view of the whole town from up there :)
the Uppsala Consert & Congress building is the one in the first couple of pics?

Nice little tour btw:yes:
Thanks

No I didn't have the time time to up in the Concert and Congress building, guess I'll have to do that the next visit. And yes, it's the building on the first couple of pics...
Buildings in pictures 1-3, 5 and 7 look crazy, but I like Uppsala anyway. :angel1:
/\ What's so crazy about #7???

I can agree with you about number 5 (butt ugly). But I like the concert and congress hall, and number 7 is OK :)
That "butt ugly" building is one of Alvar Aalto's creations. ;) It's Västmanland-Dala Nation and I personally like it, even though that picture doesn't give you a very fair view of the building.
Interesting. Hehe, maybe I was a bit harsch in my judgement, I guess I have some problems with that seemingly unmotivated "utbuktning". I will give it another chance and study it more thoroughly the next time :)
very charming city, but looks very low rise.
i havent been there yet,but hopefully i will next year
