Extell's The Kent Approaches Full Height, Grand Carnegie Hill Residences Priced from $2.57 Million
January 20, 2017
Seemingly in a blink of an eye, Extell Development has erected the structural frame of The Kent, the firm’s latest Upper East Side condo to launch sales. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, the architecture of the building is to be reminiscent of New York City’s Art Deco movement of the 1920s. The 30-story, 393-foot building will mark the sky with an ensemble of setbacks terraces, whose corners will be marked by lanterns and upright masts. The building will meet the ground in a similarly traditional fashion —greeting passersby with a warm limestone facing, black metal window-frames, and a brass canopy.
