1. Construction magstart either October 2017 or January 2018 with cost of 500 Million Pesos.
2. Construction will last for 18 months, 3 storey building na magkakaroon ng 1000 stalls and bigger parking once na matapos.
3. Imomodernize lahat but still retaining bagsakan market status.
5. Monthly rent will still be the same pero magkakatalo na daw sa rights.
6. Reason for improvement?
"Market Mall" :bash:Finally! May groundbreaking na after months of delay.
:rofl:Congrats Urdaneta...Sana matuloy, baka may yamashita.
^^
Traffic is an unfortunate by-product of development. But of course there are ways of managing it.
Parking Concerns:
- The entire basement of Magic Mall Annex will be utilized for parking.
- One reason for the bagsakan market going vertical is to reduce its footprint and free up space for parking. There are talks of a parking component to the bagsakan (rooftop parking) as well.
Traffic Concerns:
- Once Magic Mall Annex opens, the parking area of Magic Mall Main will be demolished for the widening of Alexander St (from 2 lanes to 5, maybe 6 lanes).
- There are plans to widen Aruego St (parallel Alexander St) as well. This will only be minimal though (2 lanes to 3). But...
- Once the infrastructure is in place, the city will implement one-way traffic schemes. This has been in the works for a while now but what I'm getting is that those travelling towards the direction of Dagupan will take Alexander St while those going to Manila will take Aruego St. 3-6 lanes for one-way roads? Not too bad.
