Växjö - Saturday Spring Stroll

Went to my home town the other week and took the classic Växjö walk around Växjösjön (the Växjö lake). Not much urbanity or scrapers in that area, but some nice piece of nature and some new one and few family residentals.

Some info about the town: http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Växjö

Hope you enjoy it.

It's a rather new castle, finished in 1900. It was a wedding gift from the count Gustav Fredrik Bonde af Björnö to his wife. Today it's used as a hotel and conference building.

Yes it is.

For its size, Växjö has got a huge amount of sprawled one-family houses in the suburbs the last years. The ones on the pictures are at least decently central and have some kind of architectural ambition.
Looks like a very nice town. :eek:kay:
Nice castle!
