VENUS VENIS
VENICE | VENETO | ITALY

Design | Bolina Ingegneria, Manens-Tifs, Tecnostudio, Tessari Associati, Milanesi & Modena Architetti Associati, Moretti
Developer | BLO Immobiliare srl

The Metropolitan City of Venice has approved the construction of a luxury highrise, next to "Nave de Vero" shopping mall, in Marghera - mainland Venice (Veneto, North-East Italy).

Fashion, Art, Relax, Food
The reference to Venus, the Goddess of beauty, allows us to sense the aspiration of the new tower as not only container of beauty (top fashion, art, wellness) but as a symbol of beauty in itself. Two scenic elevators depart from the underground parking, pierce the pedestal in the zone of the spacious two-storey hall, to rise up the tower to emerge on the roof-top of the building.

Shopping
The retail zones of the building are made up of the two-storey broad slab standing on the underground parking bays, and of the first seven double-height storeys of the tower. The total retail surface area is thus 21,000 sq.m. The aim is to create a structure designed specifically for top fashion, luxury leather goods, jewellery and more: the concept of “hosting beauty” will extend to arts and design exhibitions, fashion shows and events, and to areas devoted to the culture and art of excellent food and wine.

Hotel and wellness Spa
Venus Venis will accommodate a luxury hotel which matches the highest international standards. It has 120 rooms, reception and general services of hall and breakfast area. There will be also a wellness center with spa. The total area dedicated to the hotel’s guests is thus about 9,000 sq.m.

Restaurant and scenic terrace
The top levels of the tower are devoted to restaurant services. The lower level hosts the largest hall, together with kitchen and services while the upper one has the smaller restaurants, of which one is south-facing, circular and revolving. On the roof is the panoramic terrace which guests can access and take in breath-taking view of Venice.

The nearby area developed and designed by the same subjects. The shopping mall would remind a vessel.
The proposed tower, instead, will look like a shell from above.
