Viola is a town in southwestern Kent County. The town has a population of around 150. Viola was established in 1856 on the Delaware Railroad and was originally called Canterbury Station, until 1880.

Looks a very cute town, based on those pictures. It seems that a lot of the small DE villages have a rather down at the heels look and seem sadly to be lacking in character. This one, however, looks quite pretty.

Viola looks okay, but from my short time there, I would put it lower than most place. It is extremely small, but compared to other extremely small towns (Woodside, Bethel, Kenton, etc), the houses aren't quite as nice as some other places.

One thing interesting about Biola is that there is absolutely no private business establishment in the town. Businesses with more than 2 employees are not allowed in the town, to preserve the small town life. So, the only palces that are not houses in the town are the post office and church, both pictured. There's no small business, not even a corner store, in Viola.
