So was any one lucky enough to go to Studio 54 (1977-1980) Are the stories that I have heard true? Have any you could share and was the movie right in what they potrayed.

The club opened in April of 1977 and Steve Rubell and Ian Showger (sp) were busted in Novmerber of 1979. The club stayed open but it was never the same. Thats why I ask is any one was lucky enough to go during those years the ones that were wild, drug induced and had careless sex. :cheers:

Steve went on TV bragging about money goverment does not need to know about and stuff, the movie is pretty acurate from what I have read except it did not close on new years like in the movie and ryan p story is thrown in
