I had a meeting with Emporium to see the details for emQuartier regarding a retails space. It's a pretty impressive project with lots of open spaces, a huge waterfall and an open park on floor 5. They told us that the opening date has now been pushe to Q3 2014, so we still have to wait a little.

What they also mentioned however that they are planning another "major" project "very" close. From the top floor at the emporium towers where the emQ showroom is located, one would think it must be the impressive plot of old (and ugly) buildings right opposite - between park and soi 22. If they really going to do a 3rd project there, Bangkok can expect another main center of high end leisure and shopping to be right at Phrom Pong. And with the Park in the middle... Well, imagin yourself!

EmQuartier for sure will be a winner after what I saw!
