Waterloo is a village in Seneca County. The village is the county seat, and is named after Waterloo in Belgium, where Napoleon was defeated. The village was originally named "New Hudson" when it was settled in 1795. Waterloo's population is around 5,000.

Waterloo is known as the birthplace of Memorial Day. Memorial Day was first celebrated here in 1866, and President Lyndon B. Johnson declared Waterloo to be the official birthplace of Memorial Day in 1966.

Where's RIM? Oh, wait, that's in ONTARIO.

Anyways, a very nice-looking village, with cute homes. The businesses make Waterloo look bigger than 5,000.
I've been in Waterloo twice...
well, In Belgium ofcourse :)
