Revealing your likes/dislikes would help respondents narrow their suggestions down for the both of you .. an outstanding aspect about Montreal compared to other Canadian cities is that its districts/neighbourhoods offer distinct flavours .. also, it's unclear what you mean by Quebec (city? province?)

It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you are going to pop the big question. It is
one of the most romantic hotels in Canada, in my opinion. And Quebec City is to me the most romantic city in Canada, hands down.

Yes we are going to Quebec city. We booked an appartment 100m from Frontenac for the week.

I'm trying to gather the max amount of people for small videos. I plan to make a film about us, narrated by numerous people. Friends and famous people too.

Now my goal is to find the perfect place, the perfect moment to show her the film, and ask the big question ^^

Étant donné que vous y allez en hiver, je suggère fortement une journée en ski au Massif de Charlevoix. C'est la montagne qui offre le plus haut dénivelé de la province, et le paysage est magnifique, la montagne étant au bord du Fleuve.

Il existe d'autres domaines skiables dans la région également (Mont Sainte-Anne, Stoneham, Le Relais, etc).

Une visite (voire une nuit) à l'hôtel de Glace pourrait être dépaysante aussi! Par contre, ils n'ont pas beaucoup de chambres disponibles au début de l'hiver.
