Will wonder how long it will be until the second phase of this development takes place considering it would hopefully help to hide the monolithic appearance of the first phase. Wonder when the first phase of this development will start to be occupied and whether there will be any amenities at ground floor level?

don't know but if there is going to be any access from wellington place the residents will have the new sainsbury's supermarket close by on whitehall road and the co op and M&S on wellington st. not far away, neither is Town as it's an easily walkable distance :)

According to Grainger's results update, published today, this development will be marketed as 'The Headline" - a nod to the YP site on which it is built of course.

Looks good in the first picture, if a little short for the location. I think we all agree on the side profile.

West Point, you mean?
I was looking more generally on the skyline. If you look at mikes pics from several vantage points around the city you see that this does not look out of place. It has the bulk/height of City Island just across the river and yes West Point and West One close. The area has also been bulking up with 3 new builds around 10 soreys at the bottom of Kirkstall Road and Wellington Place where No 11/12 will be 11 storeys and 7/8 is only a little less.
The 5 Monkbridge buildings are also under construction and will completely change the skyline here as they are all at least as tall/taller than this.
