Community Roots and West Seattle Junction Association are collaborating on redeveloping ALL of the major parking lots in the junction. No mention of number of units but based on zoning I would guess it's at lest 500. The Office of Housing is working with Community Roots to finance the acquisition.
This is taking a huge amount of energy for Community Roots and I really hope it pays off. The business owners in the junction have long been extremely conservative about their free parking. Maybe they're finally starting to see the light.

The old Sweeney lumber blocks are coming up for their Rec meeting soon. The buildings look fine but the streetscape is especially good. Total redo of the street, more sidewalk, raised pedestrian crossings at each end of the block and mid-block, and parallel parking in lieu of diagonal. They're also proposing a "boardwalk" concept in addition to the 8' sidewalk, and an extension of the connection to Oregon St to the RapidRide stop. Seems like the developer really pushed SDOT to make the road smaller and safer for bike/ped traffic and, amazingly, SDOT seems to be going along.
