I would say:

-Singapore?
-Kenya?
-Malaysia?
-Nigeria?
-India?
-Pakistan?

If the question was "What part of the western world do you think is the most conservative?" the the answer would probably be parts of the US and Eastern Europe.

In Europe it should be either Dublin or Cork - ok Cork has less than 250.000

A generation ago it might have been somewhere in Ireland but I get the impression that has changed significantly so probably somewhere in the US bible belt i'd say.

Agree totally with you - would have said Dublin, but I heard it changed a lot since I have been there last time. San Antonio is quite conservative and rural for its size.

the U.S. is capitalist, how can it be the most conservative? i would say a place that is socialist is far more socially conservative than any place in the U.S.

my first choice/opinion would be Stockholm.
