Toss up between RIT and the University of Rochester. Among locals, UR would probably seem more presitigious; but RIT is much more known around the country.

Is RIT Rochester Institute of Technology? I've never heard of it. I've heard of Renssalear (sp?) Institute of Technology in the Albany, NY area, which is supposed to be pretty good, but I've never heard of Rochester Institute of Technology.

Colorado College is probably the most prestigious.

UCCS is probably growing the fastest, and if Colorado Springs ever has a "major university" that is vital to the cities econemy, UCCS will probably be it.
You also have the US Air Force Academy. It's a good school, especially when the administration is not busy covering up upperclassmen raping freshmen women.
