I've found Vancouver's to be the most special. Cloudy most of the winter, but the sun would peak out when settling onto the horizon out in the ocean water most days that time of year, illuminating the whole underside of the overcasting clouds that tended to hug land and not the open water. Clouds in the Vancouver region have really distinct shapes, not the dilluted-looking ones prevalent in central Canada.
Super shot of Phoenix there. I'm not registering how the clouds get lit up while the sun's still pretty high off the horizon, which adds to the surrealism of that shot for me -- love it.
