Too funny!
I once met this white guy who'd lived in Ethiopia for years. He spoke proper Gondar Amarigna. I seriously didn't know some of the words he was using.

Yeah Alula Pankhurst speaks fluent Amharic. It's always weird to find white people who speak Amharic. A very close family friend is married to an Ethio-Armenian and it's so weird having his entire white family speaking fluent Amharic with us. It takes you by surprise the first couple of times because it's so unexpected.
