The nights might be cool in Sydney but still no real sign of winter. The CBD hasn't even recorded a minimum night temp below 10 degrees yet. Many of the trees haven't fully shed their leaves as yet. It was 22 today.

It will be 18 tomorrow with the sun shining brightly as per usual.

^ oh bullshit. :)

Winter's the time when you can get anything you want done, no peeling off layers in the middle of the day (spring / autumn), no boiling during summer, just consistency throughout the day - rugged up.

If you say so :p lol.

I prefer to be comfortable myself..... (With the nearly consistant year round temps of 20-30 degrees in the day here... :p

Except the few days over 30 and few days under 20.... (At least thats what my firefox weather bar has told me since Ive had it.....)

Give me a nice cold winter over an Australian summer any day. Sydney's winter is comfortable, I wouldn't mind if it got considerably colder.

When it's cold, you put more layers on. When it's hot, there's only so far you can go to be comfortable without being arrested.

Well it has been the first cold blast we have had which is hinting that winter is around the corner, ie 6 days......Autumn has been considerably warm, with April having a higher daily maximum temperature than Feburary, when may I make mention was our last major rain event, apart from some light showers in April on 2 days, and the Grand Prix weekend in March.

Oh and it was 22C in Melbourne on Monday.......and 21C yesterday.....

It was invigoratingly nice this morning in Sydney before 10am, then by the afternoon, I was overheating in a light cotton jacket when walking to work. I'd much prefer the temps to stay around 10-12 degrees, for at 9 months of the year. 2 or 3 months of summer weather I can handle, but not like the 9 months that we've been having in recent years.

I wonder what Avatar thinks of all this... :)

Obviously not much! lol

Thank god i'm going to Hong Kong ... Winter is not my thing.

While you are freezing you asses off, I'll be lazing by the rooftop pool gazing at the inspring skyline across the harbour. The only thing good about winter is the ability to wear a more stylish array of clothes more comfortably.
