World Cup 2014 Brazil

I don't really have a team that I prefer, I usually somehow end up rooting for the underdogs, like I was impressed with the Bosnians last night.

As far as for the eventual winner? At the start I said Argentina so I am sticking with that option

Its highly unlikely that we will see an African team win the cup, currently Naija are struggling to find rythm against Iran, a team they should really be beating. Come super Eagles!

I couldn't see where Germany would get their goals from that's why I went for Argentina but they've answered that question with that big win today.

Brazill will win it.

Well, we are not there. just enjoying watching Brazil. the team i support besides DRC.

Another L for the continent. Ghana lost against the Yanks.

Naija's draw against Iran can also be considered a L as these teams are there for the beating. It's not like the African nations where you can start slow, as Ghana saw one mistake, boom, its game over.

Brazil have to be one of the favourites, Neymar seems to be a big tournment player too but this is one ofthe weakest Brazil sides I've seen.

I have never liked Belgium as a country but I have a soft spot for their team, they have potential to win something with the current generation. I predict they will win one of the next two Euro championships.

Yes, This is the weakest squad Brazil has had....However; Mexican goalkeeper was just lucky on that day, although the Croatia game was very unfare to Croats.
After all, Germany, Italy and Holland are the strongests sides to watch.
France is rubbish since end of Zidane.

Belgium are called the dark horses, but they are still yo be seen...Fantastic squad though.

However; Benteke was going to be more beneficial than Lukaku...Lukaku just doesn't really convince me.

Let's see man, my money is still on Messi and the boys. Germany were looking vicious, I am looking to watch to see what's going on in their next game

the French are just better a better version of England, nothing special

I think Italy will be clever with Cavani (they should know all about him from his time in Serie A) and Suarez, who doesn't look 100% fit. I predit an Italy victory although I am hoping Uruguay go through. Great effort by Costa Rica, to top it off it's an Arsenal man doing the damage, look out for Joel Campbell

Although the opponents were weak, looks like I may have been wrong about France. The confidence they've built up during the group stages looks like it may carry them far.

damn, I missed the Ghana game.

Caught the last game Nigeria v Bosnia. Very tight game and a very good performance by Nigeria. That should be enough to carry them into the 2nd round.

Nigeria was lucky to win that game...

The ref disallowed a good Bosnian goal as an offside, when it was onside.

I wasn't impressed with Nigeria even though i wanted it to win.

The Germany-Ghana game was so far the best game of the WC.



Belgium on the other hand, nothing impressive. to many individual talents that cannot play together. not going far.

If Ghana advance ......game change.They have potential to win WC. Nigerian's game was boring ....nothing to brag.

Algeria doing good so far 3-0 half time.

Luck probably played a part, like that last save right near the end.

Compared to the Naija-Iran game, I thought they played out the game very well after scoring, if Bosnia scored who knows how the game would have ended?

I think 4 points will be enough in that group, Bosnia have been a threat in both games so I think the game with Iran will be an open game. Iran also impressed me against Messi and co
