Wrigleyville by Lucky 24:
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Wrigleyville:
The cliche shot:
There's a great party atmosphere outside of Wrigley as you make your way inside:
This is one thing i've never seen before, a whole bunch of ticket brokers selling marked up tickets for Cubs games. Toronto usually has a bunch of scalpers.
So this is what the Hulkster is up to these days:
Lots of anti-Sox paraphernalia can be bought.
The man himself:
Speaking of the man...let's give some props to Ryne Sandberg on getting inducted into the baseball hall of fame:
Enough of the street activity...let's head inside:
Oh fucking yes:
The infamous centerfield scoreboard and grandstands:
The crowd slowly piles into the stadium (20 minutes before game time):
I love the open air feel of the concourse:
It's the small things, such as this scoreboard underneath the overhanging decks, which makes this a great ballbark for the true baseball fan:
Camera guy making some last minute adjustments before game time:
These Cubs jerseys bear a remarkable resemblance to the oldschool Expos uniforms:
Bleachers on top of buildings across Sheffield:
Wrigley has an army of these aisle vendors that walk up and down the aisles during the game. I have never ever seen so many at a ball park before.:
Close up of the scoreboard. The only thing I couldn't figure out is where they put record errors. Anyone know?
Here you can really see how many vendors walk up and down the aisles:
View from my seat:
Cubs' batters provided a lot of nice breeze today:
People looking up at the broadcast booth for the 7th inning stretch...unfortunately the booth wasn't visible from my seats:
An important late game meeting on the mound:
When walking through the corridors, watch out for them foul balls:
It was a very close game through 7 innings, but the Diamondbacks scored 4 runs in the last 2 innings to blow this one open. Final score, Arizona 6 - Cubs 0.
The disappointed crowd heads home:
Thanks for the memories Wrigley....and Chicago...:
...and remember, stay alert for them foul balls:
