Beautifull design, though it seems a bit small for 23 000 or is it gonna be all standing areas?

Wuppertaler SV is a German association football club located in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia. The city was founded in 1929 out of the union of a number of smaller towns including Elberfeld, Barmen, Vohwinkel, Cronenberg and Ronsdorf – each with its own football club. Wuppertal Sport Verein was formed in 1954 out of the merger TSG Vohwinkel and SSV Wuppertal and was later joined by Borussia Wuppertal to form the present day club. In addition to the football side, today's sports club includes departments for boxing, gymnastics, handball, and track and field.

A very ambitious project for a 4th division club. Overall estimated cost is 30 million Euro. Once finished, this stadium will have all stands (except for the old mainstand) covered. Construction should start around summer 2018.
One unique feature is the fact, that the stadium will have a shopping area included in the curved building. It will be fully solar-powered and also offer rental space for offices, dentists etc.

I agree, it has a very unique look to it once completed.
The investor hasn't shared that information yet. But they did mention that project is based on the old plans from 2006.

It might not show in these pictures, but the stand along the sideline would've offered 5000 seats.
