Obwodnica Enniscorthy otwarta:
https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/news/firstclass-piece-of-transport-infrastructure-new-400m-goreyenniscorthy-motorway-opens-38324516.html

MOTORISTS are set to save up to 30 minutes travel time thanks to the €400m new M11 Gorey-Enniscorthy motorway in Wexford.

The 39km project was opened today by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar as he hailed the new motorway as a vital boost for the entire south-eastern economy.

The project is comprised of three sections of roadway including a Public Private Partnership Scheme (PPS).

These include the M11 Gorey-Enniscorthy PPS, the M11-N11 mainline and the N30 dual-carriageway.

Troche filmikow z Irlandii.

Kolejne dwa filmiki z typowej krajowki. To akurat N59 w drodze z Balinna do Sligo. To tzw "national secondary road" czyli krajowka drugiej kategorii:

I znowu Irlandia.

To obecnie standard na nowowbudowanych odcinkach w Irandii, to np przekroj nowej obwodnicy New Ross w ciagu N25:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-49210633
A new four-mile (7km) stretch of dual carriageway between Belfast and Londonderry has opened.

About 20,000 vehicles a day will benefit from the A6 upgrade between Randalstown and Toomebridge, County Antrim.

It is the first phase of a new nine-mile (14.7km) dual carriageway to the Castledawson roundabout in County Londonderry, costing £185m.

The second phase to Castledawson is due to be completed in 2021.

https://www.tii.ie/news/press-releases/dunkettle-interchange-update/

The Dunkettle contract entered between TII and Sisk required that the forecast of costs must be agreed prior to proceeding with main construction works. TII and Sisk can confirm that agreement has not been reached. Both parties remain committed to advancing the project. TII and Sisk have worked together throughout stage one to successfully develop the project to be much better prepared for the construction of the main works.

TII and Sisk will continue to work collaboratively by commencing advance works in October to include the following; diversion works for gas, electric, telecoms and water. Also included will be a new link road connecting N8 Cork City road with M8 Cork to Dublin motorway incorporating a separated cycleway and pedestrian path. Additionally, there will a new services corridor built for Little Island and advance works will be undertaken for the Burys Bridge cycleway and pedestrian path.

TII will now move to tender for the construction contract. It is anticipated that the construction contract will be awarded in 2020 with sectional openings taking place during 2022, and full completion in 2023. Overall, this pushes the completion date back by 12 months.

The budget for the Dunkettle Interchange project is committed and the value will be confirmed once the tendering process is completed. An updated business case will be prepared when working to bring to Government for approval the award of the main works contract. TII believes that due to the worse than anticipated ground conditions and the consequent increase in scope it is necessary to return to the market for the tendering of main works contract.

TII, Cork County Council and Cork City Council remain committed to the development of national road network throughout the Cork region. As a demonstration of this commitment, TII will be seeking Government approval to award the construction contract for the N22 Ballyvourney to Macroom 22km dual carriageway in September.

No i nie wiadomo jakie beda ceny w nowym przetarg.

Obecne szacunki cenowe:
https://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/ireland/100m-dunkettle-interchange-upgrade-delayed-by-a-year-944273.html
However, it has been speculated recently that the estimated cost of the upgrade has spiralled from initial estimates of €100m to more than €170m.

In May 2017, a contract notice for the tender showed the value of the project was estimated at €77m before Vat, though the contract award notice last November revealed the pre-Vat value of the procurement was subsequently listed as €88.5m.
Wezel obecnie:

Cork ma pecha do inwestycji infrastrukturalnych. Budowa M28 do nowego portu utknela w sadach i oporze NIMBow, teraz Dunkettle. Lokalni forumowicze maja wkurwa na centrale. Skad my to znamy... ;)

Cos tam jednak beda robic w trakcie rozstrzygania nowego przetargu na wykonastwo:

Update from Cork County Council.

Project tender to be awarded in 2020; partial opening in 2022 with full completion in 2023.

Works to be completed between now and tender award.

1. Construction of a freeflow link between the N8 outbound and the M8 northbound (shown in image below in red)
2. Construction of the shared use cycle/pedestrian route adjacent to the Cork – Dublin road link. This will be a segregated route separated from the road link by noise/environmental barriers, as well as vehicle restraint barriers (shown in image below in green)
3. Works to the major utilities crossing the Dunkettle site. These include gas, electricity, fibre optic telecoms and trunk watermains serving Cork City and Little Island. Diversion and protection works to these vital services within a corridor developed during the Stage 1 design process will significantly de-risk the main construction works and reduce the construction programme.

W miedzyczasie most w New Ross nabiera ksztaltu:
