Saw Conors designs for Shaftesbury Square and I was really impressed. So thought why not create a thread where we can post our designs for new developments in NI and get feedback and stuff. Try and keep them realistic :nuts:

Interpoint Redevelopment | York Street | 31 Floors

Mixed-use development to include 20 floors for the University of Ulster and 11 floors of mixed residential.

Bravo - don't fancy it much as a building but really like it as an artwork. Well done! What software did you use? Sketchup?

Great idea for a thread plank!!!

For some reason with that building my instant reaction was make the slope on the roof the opposite direction ... So it sloped down to York Street rather than away from it.

It's fantastic, and sleek but I have to admit I'd rather have Aruora on that site. Perhaps a few buildings down or opposite. would be perfect. The whole area would be very highrise with all the existing buildings and plans.

I really like the station design- reminds me of the absolutely stunning Berlin Hauptbahnhof:

If there comes a time when a new central station is needed in Belfast, they should get the guy who designed Berlin's station on the case.
