Amazing photos. The changes in London's skyline over a relatively short period is incredible. Definitely world class. Best modern skyline in Europe?

^ No that's Moscow, if you call Moscow "in Europe"...sniff

Perhaps Moscow's skyline isn't best its a matter of taste, but its impressive and extraordinary...not sure how they afford it!

Moscow is a city of planned very wide and grand avenues (with grand buildings, often landscrapers), with the main business district cluster (with the tallest buildings contained in it) and a few other tall buildings dotted in other places. (Moscow is impressive as such that in it's main business district cluster it has the tallest buildings in Europe.)
London is a city of narrow haphazard laid out streets built upon over centuries. Unlike Moscow, London has several clusters of tall buildings: the City and CW, with VNEB, South Bank, Stratford and Croydon (as smaller clusters). Several are newly emerging such as north Acton too. London has a spread of different clusters unrivalled anywhere in Europe, and comparable to cities in Asia like Jakarta, Manila and Tokyo.
