Hotoville Progress

This project started a month ago, This project is rocketing in terms of speed.

This development is selling like crazy. Horvatincic changed some of the mix for housing to meet consumer demand.

Horvatinčić prepravlja pola vila elitnog naselja u manje stanove

it is to be built within the next 9 months.
come on guys the stories about Mamic is totally wrong just rumours, if you ever had the opportunity to have met the man you will realise that the man is an over achiever and a smart business man.
Isn't this projekt open for competition at the moment?

I just found 3D of new Government building project (architekt Miroslav Geng), that should be built next to Sava river and HRT. Goverment still didn't achieve agreement about this building, but it would be nice to see changes on banks od Sava.

Article in the Vecernji-List 2nd October 2004.

"The Croatian government is gearing up for the planned announcement of a vast new office complex that will consolidate all govenment departments within one area which would total in size of 100,000sqm. Currently the various govenment departments are scattered over 30 locations throughout central Zagreb.

A competiton will begin shortly with the first prize of 50,000 DEM. The location of the new complex is close to the Sava River."

This is the project i am talking about. are we talking the same project.

Article in Croatian:

Natječaj i zaborav

I have updated post with Picture and Newspaper Article.

I am confused.

Why competition If project is alredy chosen?

By the way, I cant see the pic you posted! Could you edit it, please?
the shopping centre project 700,000 sqm for 700,000,000 Euro sounds about right.

that equates on an average of about 1,000 euro's per sqm.
doe anyone know about H-Projekt in Zagreb?
The "H" i dont know what it means, but I hear it is a big project. I dont know much about it apart from rumours.
^^^^
i cannot speak from a serb prospective,
but Croatians are a progressive, hardworking & honest people, that is why Croatia is moving forward at a rapid rate, we are free to be ourselves and be in control of our own destiny...and as you can see, the proof is here. :)

BTW, on www.hoto.hr website I found this tekst:

U 2004. godini poklonili smo gradu Zagrebu dva predivna dragulja, HOTO Business Tower u Savskoj cesti, i Palaču Zrinjevac za Trgu N. Š. Zrinskog. U 2005. godini, Zagrebačkoj županiji ćemo pokloniti prvo ekskluzivno stambeno naselje "HOTO Ville", a i samom gradu spremamo još jedan poklon, koji će biti dovršen 2005. godine.

I am very curous what is it going to be :)

What is soo funny? Has it already been completed?
Yes it is a large project, the structure was standing there for a while and i was bewildered why the curtain wall wasn't being installed.

they are targeting the fitout to be finished in 18 months time, this is too long if you ask me.

yes i do know something about the new hoto projects. will be talking to TH about it very soon. i will keep you posted. PM.

Hypo project is going slowly because it is unbelieveble large – it has more than 80.000 m2. It will be completed in 2005. I guess you know soomething about new Hoto project, WW?
Longfoot and AstroBoy,

Patience is a virtue! :D
all will be revealed...soon.

BTW AB, you are very very warm!

Also with regards to Hypo, its not the complexity of the design that i saw was the issue it was the multitasking of trades that could have started a long time ago.

WW, I see you are very informed :D I forgot to ask you, do you live in Zagreb?
LF, pa znas da Dalmatinci i Hercegovci Vladaju Zagreb! :jk:

Iman par dobri prilike u Zagrebu, i hocu da iskoristin shansu.

No need to worry longfoot, Zagreb will be getting a very skilled construction professional.

I think it is good to see, that Zagreb needs to expand, after all necessity is the mother of invention, it will keep a lot of people busy for a long time.
Longfoot,

the issue about the debt is minor, Croatia needs tax reform, more general and across the board taxes and getting more tax from big business.

at the moment there are a lot of ways to avoid paying tax, which needs to be tightened up.
