Residental buildings in Špansko - next year. i am not sure about rest of this project... You can find more informations on ths site: www.spansko.net.

Vrbani project still didn't start. they are waiting permission from city urbanists (građevinska dozvola) to start with construction...

Well, currently I don't have information about any big project in Gorica, but i will report you, if I find something.

BUT!
I am just reading in Jutarnji list about one new comercial project in Zagreb west.
I still didn't see design of project, but they say that construction of skyscraper is possible.
Investor is Niva company. Project by Studio Konstruktor.
Total space 100.000 m2.

That's the problem. I think they won't get permission for taller than 10 floors, but it is good to see that old industrial zone in Zagreb west is changing. Very close to this location is new Pliva institute, whose pics I alredy posted.

The thing I dont understand is why there is "Erste Bank" sign on this skyscraper ?????

Considering Erste is building their own same size tower pretty much on the other side of the same street.

Do you know what the story is behind this? Is this just another one of those strange things from the web when it comes to new Zagreb towers. This doesnt make sense. Do you know anything LF?

Otherwise this tower will look great on the Zagreb skyline and I too cant wait for some construction photos. :)

One of the biggest problems in Zagreb, especialy in center, are parking places. In last few years city council is trying to solve this problem building underground garages.

Next year starts reconstruction of Kvaternik's square which will have underground garage with 3 levels.

This is the computer simulation of public underground garage, opened last year on Josip Lang square, very center of Zagreb. Garage has 5 levels and 309 parking places. (I am sorry I don't have real photos!)

Hey Long Foot, did you know that the Bank of Zagreb (Zagrebacka Banka) submitted this year a plan for a skyscraper on property that it owns. Its on the location of Vukovarska and Hrvatska Bratska Zajednica streets. The Zagreb City Council said that the design wasnt acceptable and told them to come back with something else. I heard that it was way too high. :D Do you know anything about this as they are very determined to build a skyscraper for their head office. I guess they must be jealous of all the other Croatian banks and their new towers.

Secondly, that Raiffeisen Bank Tower is a serious development. We'll be hearing very soon about this. Its interesting how the banks are building new head offices in Zagreb.

Yes, and i am glad to see it. But I think Zagrebačka banka will not get the permission for skyscraper on that croasroad, because according to GUP, building can't be taller than National and university library which is 100 m to south.
I hope ZAgrebačka banka will build something atractive on that atractive location, but not skyscraper.

Astroboy, you could be interested in this: Zagreb city council yesterday decided to buy 2475 m2 next to Westin hotel. They want to build Congres center on that location.

SDP želi Kongresni centar kod hotela Westin

ZAGREB – Grad će kupiti zemljište i nekretnine Medike, 2.470 četvornih metara kod hotela Westin (bivša Opera), za skoro 25 milijuna kuna, odlučilo je Gradsko poglavarstvo. O toj lokaciji SDP stalno govori kao mjestu gdje će se graditi Kongresni centar, a početkom godine već je otkupljen dio zemljišta. Na svojoj konferenciji za novinare ovog tjedna SDP-ovci su informirali kako je imovinsko-pravna situacija sada na toj lokaciji riješena te da je Turistička zajednica od Udruženja arhitekata Zagreba naručila i idejno-projektna rješenja koja bi trebala biti gotova za tri mjeseca.
Međutim, drugi dio gradske koalicije, HNS-ov, nije oduševljen ovakvim najavama. HNS-ovci ističu da o Kongresnom centru nije donesena nikakva odluka, no ipak navijaju da se takav centar smjesti na Zagrebačkom velesajmu.
– Dobro je da smo kupili tu zemlju kod hotela Westin, jer Grad treba zaštititi neke lokacije, no što će na njoj biti još se ne zna kad o tome u Poglavarstvu nismo razgovarali – ističe narodnjački dogradonačelnik Stipe Tojčić.
Apsurdnim je ocijenio da Vijeće turističke zajednice raspisuje natječaj za gradsko zemljište jednako kao i sudjelovanje Anđelka Leke, predsjednika Uprave hotela Westin, u svemu tome: – Naime, Leko je, kao član Vijeća, bio direktno u sukobu interesa i nije smio glasati o natječaju, smatra Tojčić jer se Westin nalazi do zemljišta koje je Grad kupio. Nije teško pretpostaviti da bi, u slučaju gradnje Kongresnog centra na toj lokaciji, hotel Westin ipak najviše profitirao.

In last few years city council stimulate reconstruction of old facades in center of Zagreb. There are reconstruction programs: city pays 25, 30 or 50 % of tatal costs, rest pays owner of building. Last year 30 buildings in center were reconstructed. This year number is much bigger – 80 buildings.

dobro je da ovo nisi napisao na engleskom jer ovde ne znaju o Dinamu i navijacima koji prebiju igrace kad ne igraju dobro :D

mada ne shvatam da u glavnom gradu neko moze na odradjuje biznis na batine. :( i jos jadan urbanista dobio otkaz

btw u Rigi godisnje poprave 800 fasada :eek2: za Beograd ne znam zato sto je bio program ove godine u kome grad daje 70% novca i sredjeno je oko 100 zgrada ali nema slika na sajtu

Problem je u tome što GUP uopće ne dopušta visoku gradnju na toj lokaciji. Svud okolo su niske zgrade, a čak i nestručnjak kao ja vidi da je građevinska parcela premala za 2 nebodera, pa urbanisti nisu htjeli izdati građevinsku dozvolu.
Ali kako Zdravko Mamić ima odlične veze među gradskim političarima, bio je dovoljno bahat da dođe u urbanistički ured i invalidskom štakom (jer je upravo bio izišao iz bolnice) pretuče Mesića koji se uopće nije smio braniti. Najgore je to što je Mesić dobio otkaz, a Mamić nebodere. O tome se dosta pisalo po novinama, bilo je naslova „Mamić izboksao dva nebodera“, ali nikad nije do kraja rasvijetljeno tko je stajao iza njega.

Ja mislim da je lijepo da Zagreb gradi nebodere, ali lokacija za Eurotower je potpuni promašaj. Mislim da je i lokacija za Hoto promšena. U gradu ima odličnih lokacija i šteta je gurati nebodere na male parcele.
